This is Me.......
As this is my first post I thought I would start by introducing myself and telling you a little about me and my background.
My real name is Lee Allinson (aka VARZEE) and was born on 20/11/1983 in Dryburn Hospital , Durham. I grew up in Chester-le-Street, County Durham and lived there until I met my girlfriend whom im with now Emma Curry.
I love chester, I have done alot of growing up since i left but will always have a place in my heart for chester, have alot of friends there and always class myself as a true Chester lad.
I moved out of chester-le-street in 2004 to live with my girlfriend Emma in Dunston. Since then we have had two beautiful daughters together, called Sinead (3) and Chloe (1). We all live in Sunniside and have done for over 3 years now.
I work in the Grosvenor Casino, Newcastle and have managed to work my way up to Gaming Inspector. I enjoy working there as the majority of staff there as spot on and alot of regulars are more like mates than customers.
Since working there I have developed my love for poker....
Obviously since learning and learning to love the game of Texas Hold 'Em. There has been a rollercaster of learning including paying the price on many occasions on how things shouldn't be done as well as victories i have deserved and ones not so.
I have been playing since 2005 on and off but seriously for the past 18 months. I have thought I was a good player for a couple of years now, until realising so many holes in my game that I could be anything from a poor-average player in truth.
I have studied, played, read, talked and watched poker from the best to the worst, incorporated alot of others' styles as well as my own ideas into my game and feel I now can honestly say I have a good solid game that can compete at a reasonably high standard. Obviously I would like to think I'm always improving as no matter how good you are, you can always become better.
It has only since the "realisation" so to speak, that regular results have been rolling in. I play alot (everyday) online, using various poker sites. I use Pokerstars, Ultimatebet, Virgin, Devilfish, PartyPoker, Ladbrokes, Will Hill, VC, RedStarPoker and Cardroom2.
I try to play Live as often as I can as well spending plenty of time with my family. I play in the two local casinos - Aspers, Newcastle and Circus, Newcastle
I have decided to update this blog regularly with poker results and games that I enter as well as anything else I want to discuss in the crazy world that is my life.
